7th Heaven Family Reunion

Family Reunion Episode 1 By Stephanie Navarro Wilson

The Camden’s return to Glen oak and are welcomed to a variety of changes. Lucy and Kevin have decided to wait one year while their new born baby son is growing before they move to Crossroads, in that time she takes over her father’s church and prepares a new single Sandy Jameson to take over the church in one year. Newly married Simon returns to Glen oak with his wife, Matt, his wife and their two children to celebrate their father’s clean bill of health as well as Annie and himself taking over as principal of the local High School. At a trip to the promenade Kevin and their children run into James his old partner from New York, he’s recently moved to Glen oak with his sister and requested that Kinkirk be his partner much to Lucy’s Dismay. His sister Jamie wanders around the promenade where she meets Carmella and Michael two students from her school. She then meets Martin and Mac when she gets a burger and Aaron run up to her and calls her mom. Later on that day Jamie and her brother are invited to the Camden’s dinner where tension builds between James, Lucy, Mr. and Mrs. Camden and Jamie and Martin. The tension breaks when Sandy enters the room, and to her surprise James expresses his interest in her, she turns him down, but he continues to pursue. James acknowledges Reverend Camden and tells him that he brought Jamie here to protect her from city life and meet her father. The Camden’s finish their dinner and Simon and Matt confront their father about his conversation with James. Kevin decides to rejoin the force and does not know how to break it to Lucy. Martin is surprised when he attempts to ask Jamie out and she immediately rejects him, for Michael….

Scene 1

The scene opens up to an underscore of music in which the boys, Annie, Lucy and Kevin are all scene unpacking from their trip. They each have gathered mementos and are redecorating their respective rooms, there is an irresistible delightful vibe in the air as Lucy has all ready given birth to a baby boy and everyone is anticipating the arrival of Matt and Simon with their wives. They are celebrating Eric’s clean bill of health and new position as Principal of the High School all their children went to. He is at work right away, and is seen learning to adjusting to life as principal. Clips of Simon and Cecilia coming from the airport are shown while both of them are anticipating family reaction to their marriage and Matt and Sarah are preparing their boys for a weekend trip to the Camden house. Ruthie and Tbone both attend San Francisco University and have decided to move in together without telling anyone, so they are seen unpacking. Images of Sandy leaving Jonathon’s apartment with all her stuff and Aaron to move back in with her father in Glen Oak are shown she is utterly disappointed that over the course of their trip their relationship ended as well as their engagement. The scene then fades to James Stevenson unpacking his stuff and his sister’s stuff in their two bedroom apartment in Glenoak. He is doing all the unloading as Jamie has fallen asleep in the car, and any attempts to wake her up have been futile. The music begins to die down and Annie is scene again looking at pictures from their trip when Lucy walks in.

Lucy:
Hi mom!

Annie:
Good morning Luce and a hello to you to beautiful (Referring to her new grandson) where’s Kevin and Savannah?

Lucy:
I sent them down to the promenade to pick up more food since were going to have a full house today.

Annie:
He didn’t have to do that…

Lucy:
I know, but I’m excited it’s been so long since I’ve scene Matt or Simon.

Annie:
I know, with Sarah and Simon said he had a surprise for us…Of you invited Sandy to right and Jonathon?

Lucy:
I did, Sandy’s coming…

Annie:
And Jonathon?

Lucy:
She really doesn’t want to talk about it right now

Annie:
That’s a shame, well when the time is right.

Lucy:
Yeah, so what time is Ruthie and T-Bone coming back?

Annie:
There going to help each other unpack and then they’ll come up, later tonight. With Ruthie in San Francisco I’m just glad he’s near by.Oh remember this picture?

Lucy:
How could I forget? It was the last day of our trip when this little guy was born, passing through Crossroads and I went into labor.

Annie:
Take it as a sign…

Lucy:
Me and Kevin have officially decided to wait until this little guy’s a year old and Savannah starts preschool before we move to Crossroads. It’s a big adjustment and everyone agreed one year is what’s best. Besides it will give me time to take over the church for a while, since dad has a new budding career.

Annie:
Funny how life works huh?

Lucy:
Whoever thought dad would become principal of my old high school…

Annie:
A new change, but a welcome one, he spent his whole life helping people of the community, now he has a chance to make more of a difference into the next generations lives…Also keep an eye on Sam and David at school.

Lucy:
Those two are growing up so fast. So is Savannah I can’t believe it, in a year I’m going to be sending Savannah off to school, and Kevin’s going to be a sheriff…

Annie:
Making you nervous?

Lucy:
Uh huh, I don’t think I’m ready for Kevin to go out there toting a gun again especially with two kids.
Annie:Don’t think about the bad, think about the good Kevin will do a lot of good as a police officer.

Lucy:
Besides it’s a year from now, that’s like a lifetime away.

Scene 2
At the grocery store back to back Kevin is shopping with Savannah, in a different aisle Sandy is with Aaron buying groceries and on the farthest end James is with Jamie getting groceries. Noticing her boredom he gives her cash and allows her to go to the promenade if she doesn’t go too far and promises to answer her cell phone. He then starts to ride through the aisles and accidentally runs into Sandy and Aaron.

Sandy:
Hey watch it…

James:
I’m so sorry, awe hey little guy, is this your son?

Sandy:
Yeah and its okay thanks…

James:
Wait a minute, what’s your name?

Sandy:
Sandy
James: I’m James.

Sandy:
This is my son Aaron.

James:
You’re pretty young to be a mother

Sandy:
I have to go…

James:
No wait you’re completely right that was UN called for, I should make it up to you; maybe you and Aaron want to come to my house for dinner sometime. I’m pretty new to the area, but I make a mean Italian dinner.

Sandy:
Thank you, but no, at this point I really don’t date…

James:
Understandable, but we could be friends right?

Kevin:
Stevenson?

James:
Kinkirk!

Sandy:
I have to go…

James:
Can I call you sometime?

Sandy:
I’ll just see you around okay…

James:
Counting on it…By little guy

Sandy leaves and James stares at her while she heads to the check out, she looks
Back really quick, blushes and then takes off, Aaron waives and James waives back. Kevin and James greet each other, in New York they were partners.

Kevin:
Don’t take it personal Sandy’s had a rough year…

James:
You know that goddess?

Kevin:
Yeah she’s associate pastor at our church here, my wife just took over the church from her father.

James:
So finally made Lucy your wife, I’ll take the fact that I was in Iraq as the reason you didn’t invite me to your wedding, or tell me you had a daughter.

Kevin:
And a son, I didn’t know how to get a hold of you, when you enlisted you didn’t give anyone any contact info… What are you doing here?

James:
Well, since my parents passed away as the oldest they put me in charge of my younger sister, so I joined the force again and requested a transfer to Glen Oak. My parents used to live here; I wanted to take Jamie away from all the temptation of the city.

Kevin:
I’m sorry to hear that, I hope she’s adjusting well.

James:
What about you? Detective Michaels said you quite the force.

Kevin:
There are some things in life that are more important.

James:
I’ll be blunt with you; I think we should be partners

Kevin:
No… No…
James:
Come on we were great partners got each other out of a lot of jams.

Kevin:
I can’t I have a family to think about.

James:
Kinkirk you know we made a great team, and I would never let Lucy become a widow.

Kevin:
And I won’t let you’re sister be alone.

James:
So be my partner… Come on we became cops to do good, you can’t tell me you still don’t want to be a cop…

Kevin:
I’ll think about it, where’s your sister anyways?
James:At the promenade, don’t avoid the subject… I’m requesting you as my partner Kinkirk…

Scene 3
The scene transitions to the airport Simon and Cecilia have landed, and so have Matt and Sarah. Cecilia heads to the bathroom and so does Sarah, Matt and Simon run into each other.

Simon:
Matt!

Matt:
Hey Simon it’s good to see you… On the way home?

Simon:
Yeah, with…

The girls come out of the bathroom, Cecilia has all ready told Sarah that Simon and her are married.

Matt:
Cecilia!! Hey Cecilia…

Sarah:
His wife

Matt:
What?!! When did that happen?

Simon:
A while ago, I thought we were going to wait…

Cecilia:
She saw the ring, and I was too excited

Simon:
Its okay, I love you Cecilia

Cecilia:
I love you to.

Simon:
Can we keep this a secret?

Cecilia:
We’d still like this to be a surprise…

Matt:
Oh believe me, if mom and dad ask I know nothing about this.

Simon:Thanks…

They walk off and the scene fades to the promenade where Martin is waiting for Mac. He brushes past Jaime, but before he could talk to her Sandy stops him in the Promenade.

Martin:
Sandy? Hey what are you doing here?

Sandy:
Moving back, and I’ve got a lot of things to take care of, do you mind watching Aaron for a while?

Martin:
Of Course not… Hey, are you okay? Is there anything you want to talk about?

Sandy:
Not right now, besides Macs here.

Martin:
Anytime you want to talk just let me know…

Sandy:
I will, Thank you I appreciate it.

Mac:
What was that about? Things unwell for Sandy in Seventh Heaven?

Martin:
She doesn’t want to talk about it, when she’s ready she’ll tell me.

Mac:
Fair enough, so let’s catch up, how’s your summer been so far? Aaron seems to be shooting up more and more.

Martin:
Pretty soon I can tell him about baseball and sports.

Mac:
And girls, don’t forget girls.

Martin:
Is that all you think about?

Mac:
I think about my girl.
Martin:
So I take things are going well between you and Margaret?

Mac:Definitely

The two walked off with Aaron to go and eat, the scene transitions to the pizzeria where Jamie, Michael and Carmella are talking.

Scene 4

At the pizzeria Jamie, Michael and Carmella are talking. They are getting to know each other. Michael and Carmella are good friends, while Jamie is new to the area. Jamie is sixteen going on seventeen, she is very rambunctious a dancer, singer and has a love of sports. Michael is a baseball player and Carmella is a cheerleader at the same high school that Jamie is going to attend.

Jamie:
I love sports, love baseball; I used to sing the national anthem all the time at my old school.

Michael:
Maybe you could do that at our school, watch me a play game sometime.

Jamie:
I’d like that, I don’t know anybody here and you two seem really nice. How long have you guys known each other?

Carmella:
Since we were kids, Michael is my best friend.

Jamie:Are you two dating?

Carmella:
No, totally available

Jamie:
Good to know… I’m going to get a drink

She gets up; Michael gives Carmella a dirty look.

Carmella:
What? Do you really want some girl your trying to hit on, that I was your first everything?
Michael:
Guess not.

Carmella:
It looks like the soda’s machine’s not available.
Michael:
So?

Carmella:
So let’s talk about it while she’s outside, what do you think of the new girl?

Jamie walks to the outside of the promenade she walks past Mac and Martin who are talking about their respective summers, Martin glances over and Mac notices Jamie as well.

Mac:
She looks young, dude… Very young

Martin:
She’s got to be at least seventeen, eighteen

Mac:
And your almost twenty-one

Martin:
So what, it’s the second time I’ve run into her today and I haven’t had the courage to get up and say hello.

Mac:
Every girl wants you, and I do mean every girl and you don’t have the courage to talk to some girl wearing a giant’s jacket?

Martin:
I don’t know, I guess it’s been a while since I talked to any girls and after being rejected by Ruthie…

Mac:
She’s about to leave, as a single dad I say….

Aaron jumps out of the chair and run towards to Jamie, Martin gets up and follows him.

Martin:Aaron!

Mac:
Good boy…

Aaron:
Mommy

Jamie:
Hi little guy… Is he yours?

Martin:
Uh yeah, kind of got a way from me there

Jamie:
Well he is a cutie, what’s his name?

Martin:
Aaron, and yours?

Jamie:
Jamie Elizabeth, I should get going.

Martin:
Wait, I’m Martin, Martin Brewer… and that guy waiving silly over there is Mac.

Jamie:
My friends are waiting.

Martin:
Are you new to town?
Jamie:
Just moved here

Martin:
Maybe I could show you around sometime, be kind of your tour guide for Glen Oak.

Jamie:
How old are you?

Martin:
How old are you?

Jamie:
I asked you first…

Martin:Twenty

Jamie:
And you all ready have a son?

Martin:
Would that be the reason why you seem to be rejecting me?

Jamie:
Look I don’t judge, it’s just I’m new to town and my brother definitely wouldn’t approve, so if I were you I wouldn’t waste you’re time.

Martin:
But we could be friends right?

Jamie:
Um, no I don’t think so…. Look you seem like a nice guy, but I’m really not interested.
Martin:
Can I ask why?

Jamie:
Let me guess you don’t get rejected too often do you?
Martin:
How old are you?

Jamie:
Way too young, I’m sixteen, barely sixteen, so I wouldn’t want to waste your time. I’m sure there are plenty of other’s girls you could be “friends” with.

Martin:
You don’t even know me

Jamie:
Look to be honest, I just came from New York and I dated a guy your age, with similar qualities.
Martin:
And what would that be?

Jamie:
Let me guess some athletic, jock that in high school spent some meaningless night a college girl and had a baby.

Martin:
Does that make me a bad person?

Jamie:
No I’ve just been there, done that and I’m not interested…

Jamie walks away and Martin grabs Aaron and walks away back to Mac.

Martin:
She rejected me…She actually rejected me

Mac:
At sixteen, I really would try and find someone else.

Martin:
I guess you’re right. That was kind of rude anyways.

Mac:
Hey who knows, maybe you’ll meet a girl who is legal just have Aaron keep trying.

Martin:
I guess you’re right, but I still can’t believe she rejected me, I’ve never been rejected.

Mac:
Of course you have plenty of times.

Martin gives him a dirty look and the scene transitions to Michael and Carmella talking as Jamie returns with her almost finished soda. Michael plans to ask her out.

Michael:
Long line?

Jamie:
Yeah

Carmella:
So I have got to get to practice, but I’ll see you around Jamie.

Jamie:
Maybe I should go to?

Michael:
What’s with the rush? Unless I’m being rejected?

Jamie:
No, definitely not, I like you, you seem like a nice guy and we share similar interests.

Michael:
It’s not everyday you meet a girl who’s cute, amazing, perfect or a fan of baseball and adventurous.

Jamie:
What can I say I have a thing for baseball players

They lean in and kiss James clears his throat Kevin and James are standing with their hands crossed, he’s got Savannah in his hands. Last time Kevin saw Jamie she was still a child, Michael seems shocked as two guys are hovering over them with Savannah. Jamie pulls back.

Jamie:
Hi James, Michael this is my brother James and um… his friend?

Kevin:
It hasn’t been that long since the last time we saw each other Jamie Elizabeth, and I don’t want the first time we come face to face be like this…

Jamie:Ben?

James:
Try again

Jamie:
Cameron?

Kevin:
Kevin, let’s go…

They both get up, Kevin and James turn around and command Michael to stay put.

James:
Not you, stay put

Michael:
But I

Kevin:
Hands where we can see them until we leave, let’s go Jamie

Jamie:
Wait a minute you can’t tell me what to do

James:
Get up…
Jamie:
Okay, I’ll see you around school?

Michael:
Yeah let’s talk then…

He backs away with his hands up and runs away, Jamie seems disappointed her brother scared off another guy.

Jamie:
He’s never going to speak to me again

James:
That’s not a bad thing.

Jamie:
I’m a junior this year you can’t do this to me…

James:
I think I just did… March….

She lets out a disgruntled sigh and walks away, the scene transitions to Cecilia, Sarah, Lucy and Annie cooking in the kitchen. Matt and Simon are cleaning up and Eric has just come home from his first day as principal which seems to have gone exceptionally well. Eric is having fun with the boys trying to sneak tastes from all of the girls separate dishes. Kevin and James walk in, much to everyone’s surprise.

Kevin:
Look who I found at the promenade

Annie:
Officer Stevenson, I thought you joined the army.
James:
Annie, good to see you again….

Eric:
Officer Stevenson

James:
Please call me James

Lucy:
I don’t think we’ve ever been formally introduced, how do you know my parents?

Annie:
Oh I’m sorry, well James used to live here in Glen Oak with his brother…

Eric:
And his sister

Annie:
Right and his sister, we were good friends of their parents.

Eric:
Where are they by the way?

James:
They passed away last year…
Eric:
I’m sorry how are Johnny and Jamie handling it?

James:
As best as they could, Johnny’s walking the beat trying to change the world. Jamie’s here with me…. So you haven’t finished introducing me.

Annie:
Oh I’m sorry, well this Lucy Kevin’s wife.

James:
It’s so nice to meet you; I’ve heard a lot of stories about you.

Lucy:
Hopefully all good?

James:
Well

Lucy:
Kevin

Kevin:
He’s joking Lucy

James:
I am I’ve heard lots of great stories about you and your family; it’s nice to finally meet you.

Sarah:
I’m Sarah, matt’s wife.

Cecilia:
And I’m Cecilia, Simon’s wife.

Annie:
Foods almost done are you staying for dinner?

James:
Would love to, but I can’t have to finish unpacking, and I have to go to work tonight.

Annie:Come for a little bit, please, tonight were celebrating and you moving back to Glen Oak is just one more thing we can celebrate.

Eric:Plus we’d like to see Jamie, I haven’t seen her since she was six.

Annie:
Right

James:
Interesting

Cecilia:
How olds your sister?

James:
Sixteen

Annie:
Bring her by; it’ll be a great time.
Kevin:
It’ll keep her away from the boys. Stop by for a few hours.

Lucy:
Come on when’s the last time you had a home cook meal.

James:
That is true, very true.

Lucy:
Great, come on girl’s let’s set the table. Kevin…

They all leave Annie, Eric and James stick back a little bit, they have a secret that they don’t want to talk about in front of anybody. James is clearly uncomfortable with the situation concerning his parents, Eric and his younger sister Jamie, they are all very silent, but as always James makes the first move.

James:
So, should we tell her tonight? Or do you two need more time.

Annie:
I’m sorry about your parents James, but this may not be the best time.

Eric:
Annie’s right you know I mean…

James:
My sister means everything to me, I moved her here to be safe and to get close to her father, her real father. You two are the only one’s who can help me with that.

James walks into the other room and is surprised to see that Sandy has just arrived. She is still very upset about the situation with Jonathon, but a small smile shines across her face as she notices James sitting there. James smiles back.

James:We meet again, where’s your son?

Sandy:
With his father

James:
Oh, will he be here tonight?

Sandy:
Yes, but not with me, were just friends.

James:
Oh
Sandy:
I just wanted to apologize about earlier, you were incredibly nice to me, and I was rude. I’m just so angry at…

James:
And you should be, if I were Jonathon I would’ve never done that to you.

Sandy:
Wait, how do you?
James:
Don’t worry I didn’t pull a background check on you or anything, Kevin told me, see I don’t get rejected too often, but when I guess you’re as pretty as you are, it’s expected that you maybe into a different type of guy.

Sandy:
You’re a great guy, you seem so nice.

James:
But you’re not ready, it’s okay good things come to those who wait.

Sandy:
What are you doing here anyways?
James:
Camden’s invited me to dinner; I live next door with my younger sister and you?

Sandy:
I’m moving next door with my son, I’m going to stay at my dad’s place for a while until I find a place for my son and me here in Glen Oak.

James:So I guess I’ll be seeing you often. He kisses her on the cheek and walks out the front door, Sarah and Cecilia are spying.

Sandy:
You two can come out now

Sarah:
New boyfriend?

Cecilia:
He’s cute

Sandy:
I don’t even know him and I’m not ready to start dating again.

Sarah:
Ready to talk about what happened?

Sandy:
No and I may never be… So please excuse me.
Scene 5

Later that evening everyone is eating dinner, Mac and Martin are surprised to see Jamie there. There is tension between James, Annie and Eric and Lucy is upset because she thinks James is trying to get Kevin to join the force again and Jamie is not talking to James because he “Ruined her life” and Kevin cause he didn’t butt out. Simon and Cecilia feel awkward because Martin is there and Sarah feels the tension while Matt just seems rambunctiously hungry.

Lucy:
So Jamie how do you like it in Glen Oak?

Jamie:
Great, except your husband and my ex brother ruined my dating life for the next four years. Its bad enough being the new girl at school, I’m going to be known as the girl with the brother for a cop that frisks everybody… I’m going to die a virgin.

Lucy:
Oh Kevin’s not a cop, you’re not a cop are you?
Kevin:
I’m not a cop
James:You’re being rude

Kevin:
Besides better have a rep with an overprotective brother then to be known as the girl who kisses on the first date.

Jamie:Michael is a really nice guy

Martin:
Okay you kissed, some guy you don’t know, but you rejected me out for a date.

Jamie:
Get over yourself, I told you I wasn’t interested.

Martin:
I’m curious what types of guy are you interested in.

Lucy:
Is he trying to make you his partner?

Kevin:
No

James:
I would never… okay maybe I asked him a little bit. All right yes.

Lucy:
I knew it and you lied to me Kevin.

Cecilia:So I’m curious how do you and Martin know each other?

Simon:Why do you care?
Cecilia:I don’t, just trying to make small talk.

Jamie:
I’ll tell you the type of guy I’m interested in, not pompous jerks like yourself.

Martin:
You don’t even know me.

Mac:
So who’s this guy that you were locking lips with?

Cecilia:
Why do you care? Is it cause Martin asked you that.

Simon:
Why do you care if Martin wants to know?

Eric:
Okay maybe we should all have some desert

James:Isn’t there something you want to tell Jamie Reverend Camden?

Annie:
This is not the time or the place

Jamie:
His name is Michael Larusso.

Mac:
You’ve got to be kidding, the kid with braces and head gear?

Martin:
Who?

Mac:
Don’t you remember that freshman that was on the team, when we went there?
Martin:Wasn’t he like the worst player on the team?

Cecilia:
Michael Larusso, I use to tutor him, he’s a nice guy.

Jamie:
Look just because you played baseball

Martin:
Correction, Play

Jamie:
Just cause you play baseball doesn’t mean I’m interested in you or that your judge of who is a good or not good player, and he doesn’t have braces anymore.

James:
Yeah obviously with that lip lock.

Sandy walks in the room with Aaron, followed by Ruthie and Tbone. Eric and Annie are relieved, he suggests that they all go and eat some dessert, apple pie and everyone agrees and splits up through out the house. Cecilia and Simon in the garage apartment

Cecilia:
I’m not interested in Martin, I’m really not.

Simon:
You sure?
Cecilia:
Yeah I guess I just felt a little bit awkward because you know everything you’ve told me. Meredith, Sandy, I was just feeling a little bit insecure.

Simon:
Why would you feel insecure?

Cecilia:
I mean I thought if you saw Sandy…

Simon leans in and kisses her

Simon:
I love you not Sandy

They kiss again

Matt and Sarah sleeping in one of the rooms, the kids playing upstairs in Sam and David’s room. Lucy and Kevin next door talking

Lucy:
Do you want to be a cop?
Kevin:
I don’t know

Lucy:
Kevin, what about the kids?
Kevin:
What’s the issue, I mean it’s the same job I’ll have in Crossroads.

Lucy:
Maybe I’m not comfortable with that.
Kevin:
Doesn’t mean that I’m not going to do it anyways.

Lucy:
You wouldn’t
Kevin:
Try me

Lucy:
Kevin!

Kevin:
Okay, I won’t it’s just a thought gee.

Lucy:
I don’t like James he’s putting thoughts in your head. She walks away to check up on the baby, and Kevin takes another slice of pie. Scene transitions to Tbone and Ruthie talking in the kitchen

T-bone:
Were going to have to tell them sometime

Ruthie:
Why, why can’t we just keep it a secret till after we graduate.
T-bone:
Ruthie, it’s going to be a hard secret to keep, I know you’re scared, but well get through this together.

Sandy is by herself on the front, until James joins her.

James:You always sit by yourself?
Sandy:
James, I was just getting some air

James:
Can I join you?

Sandy:
Sure
James:
Rough couple of days

Sandy:
You know sometimes I think I’m destined to be alone.

James:
Sandy, don’t talk like that your fiancĂ© was a jerk and at a time seems to me Martin was a jerk and Simon. Maybe still a little bit, you’re going to find someone great…Maybe even me.
Sandy:
I’m flattered I really am, but I don’t think.

James:
Don’t think about it, we’ll get to know each other

Sandy:
But
James:
I like you Sandy, something about you makes me feel real good inside and I don’t get those feelings often. I thought it would have past; I haven’t been able to stop thinking about you since we met.

Sandy:
It’s only been a day, you don’t even know me

James:
As much as other people break your heart, sometimes you have to let people in.

Sandy:
Things like this, like love takes time.
James:
I’m not asking for your hand in marriage, just go out with me a couple of times, If you still don’t like me well at least I had my chance.

Sandy:
What if you don’t like me?
James:
There’s no way…
He kisses her on the cheek and walks away, the scene transitions to Jamie in the back talking to Martin

Jamie:
You seem like a very nice guy, but I’m not interested can you just accept that?

Martin:
I would if I didn’t think you were interested to.

Jamie:
And what would make you say that I’m interested in you.

Martin:You basically said it at dinner, what’s you’re real reason you don’t want to date me?

Jamie:
You’re too old.

Martin:
By three years, and didn’t you date a guy same age as me?
Jamie:
Yeah and it blew up in my face… Look maybe we could be friends, but I’m definitely not interested in you.
Martin:
Who says I’m interested in you.

Jamie:
What?

Martin:
I’m entitled to change my mind.

Martin walks away and exits, Jamie has a confused look on her face, but she takes a big bite out of the pie and the scene transitions to Eric and Annie up in their room doing the same thing

Annie:
What are we going to do Eric?

Eric:
I don’t know.

Annie:
Maybe we should just talk to her; I mean she should know right.

Eric:
I’m not too sure, if he’s ready to tell her.
